Our registered office is at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. For any question about your data, please contact us through our contact page.
2. The data we collect
- Identity and passport data: family and given names, sex, marital status, date and place of birth, country of birth, nationality, passport number and passport expiry date.
- Contact and travel data: email address, phone numbers, your address in Korea, the purpose of your trip, previous visits to Korea and your occupation category.
- Answers to the health and criminal-record questions required by the Korean authorities for a K-ETA. This is sensitive data, which we use only to prepare and submit your application.
- Payment data: payments are processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation of your payment, but we never see or store your full card details.
- Messages you send us through our contact form.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and pages visited, recorded in our server and security logs.
3. Why we use your data and our legal basis
- To review your application, submit it to the Korean authorities and send you the result: this is necessary to perform our contract with you.
- To process your answers to the health and criminal-record questions: on the basis of your explicit consent, given when you submit the form, and only because the Korean authorities require them.
- To reply to your messages and handle complaints: our legitimate interest in providing good customer service.
- To keep accounting and tax records: to comply with our legal obligations.
- To protect our website against fraud and attacks: our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure.
We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Who we share your data with
- The Korean authorities (the K-ETA system of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Korea), to submit your application.
- Stripe, our payment provider.
- Our hosting and email service providers, who process data only on our instructions.
- Public authorities, where the law requires us to do so.
5. International transfers
To apply for your K-ETA, your application data is sent to the Republic of Korea, which is covered by UK adequacy regulations. Where other service providers process data outside the United Kingdom, we rely on adequacy regulations or on appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
6. How long we keep your data
We keep your application data for as long as needed to provide our service and answer your questions, and no longer than 12 months after the decision on your application, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Payment and accounting records are kept for 6 years to meet our legal obligations. Messages sent through our contact form are kept for up to 12 months.
7. Your rights
Under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR), you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its use, to receive it in a portable format and, where we rely on your consent, to withdraw that consent at any time. To exercise these rights, please contact us through our contact page.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk), the UK data protection authority.

9. Security
Our website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to your data is limited to the people who need it to process your application.
